Year 4

We are already in the 3rd Term of this academic year. Students are back in their daily routines after the break. In Science, students have been learning about landscapes, soils and their types. They collected different soil samples to study their properties. They also learnt about the process of soil formation.

In English, they have been focusing on persuasive writing techniques. They looked at different advertisements and wrote an advertisement on their own. In grammar, they covered pronouns, similes and metaphors.

During Mathematics sessions, students have been working on money problems and fractions. They have started to get weekly homework from second week of this term. Please ensure that they complete all components of their homework including the Reading Eggs and Mathletics tasks assigned each week.
